Abstract
The reform of waqf (property donated for religious use/religious foundation) system in Indonesia, has been started for many years, but it still remains many problems of waqf because the system it self is not well socialized. The enactment of UU No. 41/2004, brings a new paradigm in the waqf system in Indonesia. This paper tries to provide a description of seven new paradigm of waqf system, as pointed in that regulation. Those new paradigms are certification (formalizing of waqf land with a certificate), the exchange of waqf property, selection to the property that will be donated, nadzir requirements, expansion of waqf property and development of waqf system.
